PRESENTATION AS EFFECTIVE INTERACIVE METHODS OF TEACHING OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES AT UNIVERSITIES

Abstract

Presentation is analysed in the article which is an effective interactive method of teaching of foreign languages at Universities. Interactive activity predicts the organization and development of such communication which leads to mutual understanding, interaction, to the joint decisions of common but important for each participant tasks. It is acknowledged in the article that modern world standards in the field of education predicts the preparation of highly qualified specialists who are able to integrate the theoretical knowledge and practical skills into the integral system and have new technologies and etc. Conditions for the formation of such qualities of the person as mobility, ability to integrate into a dynamic society, critical thinking, ability to generate new ideas, ability to make nonstandard decisions and responsibilities, communication skills, ability to work in a team, ability to model educational and upbringing situations and etc. can be created for the successful realization of the personal potential of each student in the educational and upbringing process. The solution of such tasks is facilitated by the use of presentation in the educational process. Presentation as an effective interactive method of teaching of foreign languages predicts the organization of the educational process where all students actively interact with each other and the lecturer using modeling of life and professional situations, role-playing games and methods to create situations of search, empathy, contradictions, risk, doubt, persuasion, satisfaction, analysis and self-assessment of their actions, common problem solving . The presentation should be short, accessible and compositionally coherent and several key points should be highlighted in the process of teaching. There should be nothing excessive in the presentation, and each slide should work on the general idea of the presentation. The special meaning has the interactive presentation which gives the possibility of distant participation in different scientific events (conferences, forums, symposia, etc.). Lecturers encourage students to take part in International and Ukrainian scientific events, where presentations are carried out in the interactive format. Thus, the presentation predicts the readiness and desire to cooperate with others and promote the achievement of the skills to conduct the constructive communication with partners and the development of creative potential and information competence.
