GENDER FEATURES OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE FORMATION IN ADOLESCENTS WITH MENTAL DEVELOPMENTAL DISORDERS

Abstract

The relevance of the study of the formation of emotional intelligence of persons with mental developmental disorders is due to the urgent need to develop effective technologies for the development of personality with special educational needs at different ages of its formation. The article is devoted to the problem of studying the gender peculiarities of perception and differentiation of emotions by adolescents with intellectual disabilities. The article identifies the state of development of the problem; the peculiarities of the formation of the emotional sphere of adolescents with intellectual disabilities by age and gender criteria are characterized, the structural components of emotional intelligence are singled out and the peculiarities of its formation in adolescent boys and girls with intellectual disabilities are described. The aim of the article is to study the gender features of the formation of emotional intelligence of adolescents with intellectual disabilities. The purpose of the study was to provide a step-by-step solution to the main tasks: first, to identify the features of the perception of basic emotions by boys and girls with adolescence who have intellectual disabilities; secondly, determining the state of formation of emotional intelligence in young men and adolescent girls with intellectual disabilities; third, determining the main factors of formation and formation of emotional intelligence in adolescents with intellectual disabilities. Theoretical and empirical methods of scientific research were used to solve the outlined tasks and ensure the reliability of the provisions and conclusions, which allowed to establish quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the studied phenomenon, to characterize the indicators and to establish levels. Psychodiagnostic was performed in accordance with the requirements and instructions of the methods used: “Emotional intelligence” (according by N. Hall), “Diagnosis of compliance with the manifestation of emotional states and the level of differentiation of emotions” (according by V. Boyko), conversations, observations.
