DIFFERENTIATED APPROACH IN TRAINING PROCESS IN ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS

Abstract

In this article the problems of differentiated approach of sportsmen are theoretically grounded, scientific and methodical literature and works of famous scientists and specialists in the field of physical culture and sport are analyzed, such concepts as “differentiation” and “individualization” are considered and the difference and efficiency between them are defined. The problem of perspective introduction of the differentiated approach in educational and training process in artistic gymnastics is considered. They should serve as support material for coaches and not as a guiding element in the planning of each athlete’s training system, as individual characteristics should be the deciding factor. It should also be noted that at the present stage the topic of differentiated approach in the educational and training process of young gymnasts is very relevant. Because many sports schools hardly use a differentiated approach, justifying this for many different reasons: not enough time, crowded groups, no support from management and parents, insufficient motivation, and so on. Thus, on the basis of the analysis of scientific and methodical publications on the problem of differentiated approach, as well as differentiated application of means and methods in physical education and sport, we have identified the following theoretical foundations: nowadays, differentiated approach in the educational process of young athletes is a problem that is not sufficiently studied; differentiated use of means and methods in physical education and sport has a positive impact on the effectiveness of the educational process; inadequate physical activity for athletes can cause deterioration of their health and cause loss of motivation to exercise. A questionnaire survey among coaches of children’s schools with different length of service was analyzed and revealed that 66.7% of respondent believe that differentiation of the educational and training process at the initial stage of training is effective.
