The psychological components of professional creativity of kindergarten teachers
Abstract
The article reveals the problem of finding the psychological components of professional creativity of a teacher in a preschool organization and also analyzing its structure. The author defined the relevance of the research by reformation changes, occurring in education nowadays, and giving the increasing demands for professional training of future teachers. The author points out the actual subject of creativity, creative features of educational activities, based on his own study, that allowed the teachers to provide a definition of "creativity" and "creativity of professional preschool teachers". Based on a multivariate approach, it has been discovered that creativity is a multi-component form, a function of the whole individual, depending on patterns of mental characteristics that are not limited to intelligence. The investigations of domestic and foreign scientists, which are dedicated to the analysis of the structures of pedagogical creativity and stages of professional creativity of preschool teachers, helped the author to determine the psychological structure of professional creativity of the teacher. The structure includes the following components: motivational, cognitive, operational and regulatory. This article explains the psychological components and performance of each component. Motivational component includes a desire for creative self-realization and creative emotional orientation. The cognitive component includes the maturity of the students' creative thinking (flexibility, speed and originality), social intelligence (the ability to notice and understand verbal and nonverbal information), imagination, awareness of the psychological essence of pedagogical creativity, creative methods of solving educational problems and the level of academic achievement. The operational component includes a system of mental actions and operations of the creative solution of educational problems. The regulatory component includes a volition of personality and capacity for reflection.
