ANALYSIS OF PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS OF REALIZATION OF OLYMPIC EDUCATION OF JUNIOR SCHOOLCHILDREN IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

Abstract

The author reveals the problem of realization of Olympic education of junior schoolchildren in the modern educational space. Emphasis is placed on the importance of physical development and education of the younger generation and the importance of an effectively formed system of work in this direction. The problematic aspects of the present concerning the level of awareness of junior schoolchildren about Olympic sports, Olympians of our state and the Olympic movement are determined; family involvement in joint activities with the school to implement the ideas of Olympic education. The definition of the concept of “Olympic education” is given and its main tasks are defined. The psychological and pedagogical requirements to the educational environment of realization of Olympic education are outlined. The pedagogical conditions of realization of Olympic education of junior schoolchildren are defined, among which: inclusion of innovative methods and forms of work in the system of physical education of junior schoolchildren; integration of the content of educational branches in the educational process of primary school in order to form a holistic view of Olympic sports in junior high school students; involvement of parents as a third party in the educational triangle in the process of implementing Olympic education in working with younger students. The system of work on the implementation of Olympic education of primary school students is described, which consists of three stages: preparatory, basic, final. The tasks of each stage are determined: preparatory stage: to study the literature on Olympic education in children of primary school age; to create pedagogical conditions for the formation of ideas in primary school about the Olympic Games; main stage: to introduce elements of sports games and sports exercises, games, relays in the system of physical education; to conduct a comparative analysis of the level of formation of ideas of students of senior groups about the Olympic movement (data on the beginning of work and its end); the final stage: to determine the effectiveness of the work; to broadcast the experience of work in the framework of physical culture and health forms of work in educational institutions for primary school teachers and parents of pupils, as well as at district methodological events in the media. The results of the work are presented.
