The article considers and analyzes the features of project activities in the process of managing an educational institution, on the example of Tarashcha Academic Lyceum “Erudyt”. The key concepts that create an idea of the subject of research and their impact on the effectiveness, efficiency and further realization of project tasks after the project are formulated. The necessary conditions of project activity in general secondary education institutions are described and it is noted that the implementation of the project management system should be approached as a separate project. To avoid problems in the preparation and implementation of this activity, you need to study the situation and equip the team with some knowledge, monitor compliance and anticipate risks, create an atmosphere of mutual respect and motivate team members. The leading role in the management of an educational institution is played by project activities. The process of managing human, logistical and financial resources throughout the project cycle is continuous and requires constant monitoring. The international project in the educational institution as a separate type of innovative activity is singled out. The participation of educational institutions in international projects has recently become the subject of intensive theoretical and practical research, and the changing situation on the labour market encourages educational institutions to cooperate with foreign colleagues. Positive changes in the staff of Tarashcha Academic Lyceum “Erudyt” are analyzed. Lyceum teachers as translators of knowledge and life practice enriched themselves with knowledge and accordingly expanded their worldview. The lyceum implements projects in each type of its activity and at each level of education. The manager must be fully aware and know the state of affairs at each stage of the project, be able to identify factors that cause risks, deeply analyze and eliminate them, respond correctly and in a timely manner to team requests, take concrete, effective measures, encourage initiative, innovation, support talents. Project management is a dynamically developed vector of management theory and practice, the relevance of which is only growing every year
