PREPARATION OF FUTURE HISTORY TEACHERS FOR THE FORMATION OF AXIOLOGICAL COMPETENCE IN STUDENTS

Abstract

The article is devoted to one of the urgent problems of training future history teachers - the competence approach in the educational process. The history teacher should not only enrich students with historical knowledge, but, above all, help them navigate in the social and cultural space, form students' national identity, promote a holistic perception of the world. In order to achieve these goals in the educational process of general secondary education, a history teacher must be prepared for this. Thus, the professional training of a future history teacher should be based on the formation of his value (axiological) orientations, the ability to think critically, to make effective decisions in difficult life and pedagogical situations. It is proved that the preparation of future history teachers for the formation of students' axiological competence helps to prepare them for creative activity through the paradigm of humanistic education and upbringing. In the process of creative activity there is a creation of new value concepts that depend on economic, political, social relations in society. The article, in particular, reveals the essence of such concepts as competence, competence, professional competence, subject competences (historical), axiological competence, pedagogical practice. The study highlights the approaches in the educational process of pedagogical institutions of higher education, which contributed to the effective preparation of future history teachers for the formation of students' axiological competence (activity, holistic and value (axiological)). The activity approach contributed to the preparation for the formation of historical competencies and their application in practice, stimulated the individual to self-education and integration into professional activities during pedagogical practice. The application of a holistic approach provided an opportunity to apply a holistic structure of theoretical and practical training of future history teachers in the educational process of ZVO. The value (axiological) approach was aimed at personality-oriented learning, the creation of psychologically favorable conditions in the educational process aimed at value (axiological) orientations of the individual. We have determined the pedagogical conditions in the preparation of future teachers for the formation of students' axiological competence, namely: 2) introduction into the calendar plan of pedagogical practice of the tasks directed on formation at pupils of axiological competence; 3) motivation of future history teachers to self-education and self-improvement. We have proved that the application of certain pedagogical conditions will contribute to the effective preparation of future history teachers for the formation of students' axiological competence.
