SPECIFICS OF TRAINING FOR BUSINESS COMMUNICATION OF FUTURE POLICE OFFICERS IN UKRAINIAN LANGUAGES OF PROFESSIONAL ORIENTATION

Abstract

The article is devoted to the specifics of preparation for business communication of future law enforcement officers in Ukrainian language classes for professional purposes. The article defines the phenomenon of «business communication», the ability to conduct business communication is highlighted; a number of requirements for business communication are determined; the concepts of «business conversation», «interview» as common genres of business communication in the work of law enforcement are defined; analysis of business conversation and interview is given; recommendations for conducting business interviews, interviews for their effectiveness are considered; the characteristic of nonverbal means of communication is given; the expediency of using game methods in Ukrainian language classes for professional purposes in order to develop the skills of conducting a business conversation and interview is proved. It is proved that a significant role in the process of preparation for business communication is played by the use of game methods, role-playing and business games, the characteristic feature of which is improvisational acting by participants of a given problematic situation of professional interaction, during which they play different characters. It is proved that during the training of future law enforcement officers, is advisable to use games-competitions, the meaning of which is the possibility of multiple usage of language units in the process of communication between participants to achieve various problematic game goals. Their communicative orientation is ensured by the orientation of the participants to the solution of linguistic and extralinguistic problems. Role-playing and business games to develop students' business communication skills can also be used. It is proved that in order to teach students to behave properly, achieve goals during business conversations, interviews should use a variety of role-playing and business games that simulate various situations of the profession: conversations with offenders, the public, colleagues, victims, defendants, witnesses, criminals, etc. We consider the development of story-role and business games by teachers, which will relate to different situations of professional activity of law enforcement officers, to be a promising direction in the communicative preparation of law enforcement officers for professional activity.
