ANALYSIS OF PECULIARITIES OF PERSONAL SELF-ACTUALIZATION OF SPECIALISTS OF THE STATE EMPLOYMENT SERVICE OF UKRAINE

Abstract

Formulation of the problem. The present time strengthens the requirements for the specialist’s personality of the state employment service of Ukraine. At the forefront is the ability to independently find solutions to socially and professionally significant problems in a rapidly changing reality, to constantly learn and self-improvement, to be the subject of his / her personal and professional development. So far, the issues concerning the peculiarities of self-actualization of civil servants in general and specialists of the state employment service of Ukraine in particular remain insufficiently developed, therefore the study of peculiarities of personal self-actualization of specialists of the civil employment service of Ukraine is relevant. The purpose of the article is to determine the level and explore the features of personal self-actualization of specialists of the state employment service of Ukraine. To achieve this goal, the method “Self-actualization test (SAMOAL)” (adapted by A.F. Lazukin and N.F. Kalina) was used. Mathematical data processing was performed using a computer package of statistical programs SPSS (version 22). The following methods were used for statistical processing and analysis: descriptive statistics, variance and correlation analysis. The results of the study allowed us to draw the following conclusions. In the process of empirical research revealed the average level of personal self-actualization in a significant number of specialists SESU (84.0%). It is established that the personal self-actualization of SESU specialists has its peculiarities in terms of gender, age, length of service in SESU and the specifics of professional activity. It was found that professionals who provide services to the unemployed have the highest level of personal self-actualization than other professionals. Along with this there is a problem of low level of development of certain components of personal self-actualization which are important for the effective work of specialists in the field of “man – man”, namely “View of human nature”, “Creativity”, “Autonomy”, “Spontaneity”, “Autosympathy”.
