Global cyber-socialization, gradually in addition to the diversity of “benefits” brings into human life and a number of problematic issues. One of which is the formation of the younger generation’s dependence on cyberspace. The work is devoted to identifying the personal characteristics of cyber-addicts among the younger generation. The aim of the work was to conduct a psychodiagnostic study to identify the personal characteristics of cyber-addicts in adolescence and adolescence. Research methods: theoretical (analysis and generalization of sociopsychological, medical-psychological, psychological-pedagogical literature on the research topic), semi-structured interview, psychodiagnostic and mathematical-statistical (quantitative and qualitative analysis of the results). A total of 559 adolescents participated in the study, of whom 408 had certain types of cyber-addictions, and 151 people who agreed to enter the comparison group (relatively healthy). To study the individual psychological characteristics of the personality of cyber-addicts was chosen Personal Questionnaire R.B. Kettell (14PF / HSPQ and 16PF versions). In the general analysis of personality profiles of respondents in the age group from 14 to 15 years and from 16 to 18 years, it is possible to note that the personality profiles of comparison groups tend to average results (and do not have significant deviations by groups), bright inflated peaks on scales D, F, J, O, Q2 and bright peaks on low scales: A, C, E, G, H, Q3. According to the analysis of profiles of respondents aged 19 to 21, it is possible to note that the personality profiles of the comparison groups tend to average results (and do not have significant deviations by groups), and the personality profile of the main groups of respondents have bright inflated peaks on scales F, L, M, O, Q1, Q2, Q4 and bright peaks on low scales: A, C, E, G, H, I, N, Q3. Taking into account the individual psychological characteristics of the respondents of the main groups will allow us to develop an adequate individual psychocorrectional program, and some features identified in general for the main group provide an opportunity to take them into account when developing group programs.
