The axiological set of adolescent personality has been regarded as the most important formation, which influences behavior in particular life circumstances, determines the general focus of a person, and undergoes significant transformations in the crisis period of adolescence. It has been defined the concept of axiological orientations of adolescents as a mental formation which is a component of personal axiological part and manifested in pre-readiness for actions and self-expression and based on the values system, core values and personal meanings of an adolescent. The article has established the structure of components of axiological area (cognitive, emotive, connotative elements) and specified substantial characteristics of the components of an axiological set of adolescents. It has been found that conscious, active perception and expression of internalized values and core values are possible due to the internalization mechanism. The authors have fixed that psychological features of the “values-knowledge” framework involve rendering the current problems of adolescence in communication, emancipation. It has been discovered psychological features of the “values-meanings” framework which are a representation of age changes of adolescent personality and associated with the development of self-analysis and reflection, identity formation. The research has stated that the “values-stimuli” framework is characterized by the basic needs of adolescents for establishing social contacts, independence, as well as endeavors to experience strong sensations and satisfaction. The findings of the empirical research have been compared in terms of every indicator separately in the groups of adolescent boys and girls. The authors have divided the empirical data according to maturity levels of axiological orientations – creative and reproductive.
