In the context of modernization of education, the health-saving factors of the functioning of the cultural and creative environment of higher education institutions are due to socio-pedagogical significance, which are associated with innovative processes that require additional costs of health and creative forces of teachers and students. The functioning of such an environment allows the comfortable existence of participants in the educational process, and also activates creative thinking, characterized by spiritual and cultural richness. The article analyzes the health-saving factors that determine the functioning of the cultural environment of a higher education institution, namely, the study of the functional state of a person's life through integrative training courses on health culture (the factor of interdisciplinary integration of knowledge); consideration of psychophysiological and social features of personality, which have specific content and form, manifested in art, as well as restoration of health and reproduction of physical, intellectual and emotional forces through recreational activities (factor of creative communication); content and result of educational activities, educational conditions, living conditions, personal relationships that focus on the state of psychological safety in an educational institution (factor of psychological safety); actualization of a value life-affirming orientation, revealing the genesis and place of values in the space of personality culture (the factor of the value-orientation direction); ability to empathetic and aesthetic perception by a person of the surrounding reality, reflecting self-perception, self-consciousness, self-determination, self-realization of the person in professional activity (factor of aesthetic and creative self-realization). The article defines the essence of a personal-oriented approach, which made it possible to consider the essential aspects of human health, namely: sociocultural, psychophysiological, moral-spiritual, which makes it possible to form individual health, create conditions for its preservation and strengthening, as well as the formation of a person with creative thinking, able to independently preserve and strengthen his health. The main tasks of the functioning of the cultural and creative environment of higher education institutions are outlined, which determine the creation not only of favourable conditions for the formation of the personality, its universal and professional qualities, self-development and disclosure of individuality, but also provide effective health-saving activities.
