Metaphorical modelling manifests the cognitive-verbal human activity by means of structuring, categorizing and evaluating certain fragment of the reality. Typically, under metaforization the sphere which contains old, well-known and assimilated information serves as the source of verbal means. However, the established tendency to metaphorical transfers may be violated: the means of “new” conceptual sphere are used  to describe the old information. This change serves certain pragmatic author’s goals, for example, can be used for comic effect creation. In recent decades the computer technology, the worldwide network of the Internet and the development of the virtual communication became a powerful factor of changes in the language. The popularity of the social networks including Fasebook has soared. The interface of social networking is built in the form of the matrix, which involves filling in the information for each pattern cell and the choice of appropriate option from the set. The Facebook user behaviour consists of a certain number of standard actions such as “Create the group”, “Connect someone to the group”, “Leave the group”, “Create the event”, “Send a friend request”, “Delete the page”, “Add the photo”, “Change the profile photo”, “Like”, “Dislike” etc. The above mentioned actions relating to the user behaviour in the cyberspace may differ from the actual relationships and behaviour outside the social networks. As Facebook is the very popular social network, its common standard operations and their verbal designation can be used to describe the real events that occurred in the past when the Internet and social networking were absent. The article deals with the analysis of the text of the Ukrainian blogger Yurii Gudymenko who submitted information on historical events (Ukrainian liberation movement of the early twentieth century) in the form of successive posts of different Facebook users - famous historical figures. Thus, the new sphere – social network interface – serves as the form of expression of the old information about historical events. The application of the Facebook interface and the user language stylization creates a comic effect.
